ABOUT CASHTOWN GARAGE The historic Cashtown Garage located at 1080 Old Route 30 in Cashtown, PA is over 110 years old. The garage is a historic landmark as it was one of the first auto shops on the historic Lincoln Highway. The garage is currently under renovation and will be opening soon!
In the meantime, the garage is open by appointment for Notary Services. Tags and Title services will be available soon.

We're a historic building! Situated at the base of the South Mountain, the Cashtown Garage was one of the first auto shops and filling stations on the historic Lincoln Highway. We're just down the street from the historic Cashtown Inn. Did you know that Cashtown got its name for the fact that the local tavern owner required payment be made in cash? In 2020, the Census Bureau reported that the population of Cashtown was 453. We're looking for pictures of the garage! If you find any, please let us know, and they'll be displayed in our gallery. |
